THE PROCESS
1.
APPOINTMENT
To get started book an appointment in store with one of our tailoring experts who will carry out the fitting and guide you through the process. If it would be easier we are more than happy to come to you to carry out your initial consultation.
2.
DESIGN
Every detail is customisable, from the fabric and cut right down to the buttons. We are here to make your sartorial dreams come true, and going made to measure really is the ultimate way to express your individuality. If you’re not too sure what you want, our passionate team can talk you through different styles and our range of luxury cloths to help you decide.
3.
FIRST FITTING
A first fitting consists of a series of precise measurements in order to achieve the perfect fit, we work from a tailoring block to give you a clear idea of the cut of the finished garment. We can modify anything and everything, from shoulder width through to sleeve pitching.
4.
FINAL FITTING
Four to five weeks* after the initial appointment, your suit will arrive in store. We will then invite you for a final fitting to make sure you are happy with the outcome and assess whether any adjustments need to be made to ensure the perfect fit. *Peak periods could extend your waiting time up to 8 weeks.
OUR HISTORY
It is said that ‘clothes maketh the man’, at Jules B we understand what it takes to create a garment that perfectly reflects a man’s personality and aspirations.
Jules B has been proudly dressing stylish men for over 27 years and my family has a long tradition of tailors going back over 160 years. My great, great, great grandfather William Hilton Scott Blades cut the first raglan coat designed by Lord Raglan in the 1850’s before the Battle of Balaclava. I am proud to be able to continue this tradition with my team and extend to you, the vast knowledge and experience that has been handed down to me over these generations.

Every small detail of what you wear says something about your character, sending out a subliminal message… so it’s important to get it right.
