Women’s Top Trends for Spring/Summer 2018

SS18 is finally here and we can’t wait to start dressing for the warmer weather. It’s time for lightweight layering, summery prints and bold styles, with a focus on feel good fashion. The catwalks have been showcasing the season’s hottest trends, so what’s the verdict? Here are the top five trends you’ll be loving as you lose the winter layers and step into the sunshine.

Pastel Shades

Ice-cream pastel shades will be everywhere this season, from strawberry pink and pistachio green to lilac, lemon and duck egg blue. This year it’s all about layering  your pastels, whether you choose to stack each one on top of the other or opt  for tailoring in complementary gelato hues as seen above.

Trench coats

The trench coat has long been a classic staple in every wardrobe, but this season it’s been updated with designer details. The catwalk has seen trench coats boasting embroidery, fringing, raw edges and colourful layers. At Jules B we have a handpicked selection of trench coats to keep you on trend, with styles ranging from classic to contemporary.

Primary colours

Crayola brights have been a key focus in our wardrobes for a few seasons now and we’re thrilled to say they’re still going strong. Pair primary colours together to create bold, unabashed looks that are sure to spread joy.  Red is particularly hot right now, with fiery all-scarlet ensembles having taken over the catwalks.

Textured detailing

Designers are all about trimmings and texture this season, with feathers, fringing and fur making a big comeback. Bold textured features are a statement addition to any piece and have been seen on everything from boots to fringed hem dresses. We love how textures have been incorporated into’s knitwear collection, with feathers and tulle layering made extremely wearable.

Heritage checks are here to stay, with prints and palettes varying from muted and traditional to bold and bright. Checks are no longer just for winter, and you can easily incorporate this classic print into your outfit through everything from shirts and dresses to tights, scarves and bags.
