Paris Couture Fashion Week always delivers unique ideas and innovative designs. Renowned designers as well as new were blowing minds with their lustrous couture that dominated by the alternative wedding theme, whilst completely unseen designs were presented through new collaborations, innovative silhouettes and print. Alluring and loved around the world designers like Valentino, Dior, Elie Saab and Ralph & Russo all presented their twist on the traditional wedding gowns that were simply beautiful, whilst Maison Margiela, Chanel, Schiaparelli and Givenchy presented luxurious gowns that will become memorable. As a Haute Couture tradition, the most luxurious gowns were present and we cannot stop admiring them. Here are the top 7 highlights from the Paris Couture Fashion Week 2017.

Traditionally a voluminous silhouette, this gown took the bridal theme and renovated it into a luxurious high couture item without a fault. A feather-like skirt incorporated  flattering volume to represent the signature twist on a classic wedding dress.

John Galliano for Maison Margiela featured oversized accessories, innovative silhouettes and contemporary sheer details.

Chanel never fails to amaze. This fascinating collection was inspired by the Art Deco mirrors that form Coco Chanel’s world famous staircase including feathers to complete the looks.

This collection took inspiration from Elsa Schiaparelli’s famous birdcage pendant necklace and is a surreal masterpiece.

Vibrant and bold, these tangerine chiffon and satin pieces are an energizing luxury that is hard to walk by without noticing. Beautiful detailing completes these pieces and making them one of the most successful vivid collections.
