The Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit this year was a tribute to Tom Hanks, presented by Chanel and featuring a long list of star studded guests which can only mean one thing: fashion! This gives us a fantastic opportunity to take a look at our favourite looks from the event. As expected, many recognisable and fashionable faces graced the event with their presence, not only to support the benefit and Tom Hanks himself, but also to grace us with their fabulous and desirable key trends.
Be daring but elegant like Emma Watson in this low cut black velvet dress, chic choker necklace and barely there sandals. The dress carries a flattering draped design and an asymmetric hem which we’re all too familiar with from Australian brand KITX.
Christy wowed everyone at the event with her gorgeous Chanel lace black number, and it’s clear why. The long length gown features short sleeves and is pulled in at the waist for that added feminine appeal. Bold red lipstick makes a statement against the dark colour and it’s a truly flawless look.
Short, detailed and quirky, this Chanel dress worn by Alexa Chung was a sure head turner. The A-line black skirt was a stark contrast to the edgy, detailed and white top of the dress, and both details complimented each other very well.
Sporting a square print co-ord Rachel Brosnahan brought a geometric element to the event. Simple yet sophisticated this is the perfect way to show a little skin whilst maintainig a demure and chic edge.
