Showcasing the most exquisite collections from true fashion geniuses, the Autumn/Winter 2017 London fashion week presented innovative designs and ideas with a wide range of unseen silhouettes, patterns and use of colour. This season’s collections are definite trendsetter for stylish women everywhere. Leading designers such as Christopher Kane, Mulberry, Gareth Pugh and Roland Mouret all delivered unique collections true to their reputation; from the avant garde to the truly feminine. Gareth Pugh

Giving out the signature dark side vibe, Gareth Pugh showcased a collection that was threatening, yet exceptionally powerful. Featuring geometric shapes and fine tailoring, the collection was enhanced by dramatic silhouettes and dark colours. Showcasing an expression of deep feelings and meaningful messages presenting the designer’s signature theme. Oozing a theatrical feel, the collection was dominated by puffed silhouettes and faux fur coats.

Erdem

A collection with a personal appeal, Erdem got inspired by his two grandmothers roots with a combination of Turkish and Scottish bloods. Subtly gentle and moving silhouettes were enhanced by vivid middle eastern decoration inspired prints. Dominated by exquisite dresses, the collection delivered rich yet delicate feel followed by a poetic aesthetic.

Christopher Kane

A collection dominated by holographic effects, glistening sequin and vivid print enhanced by additional sheer lace and mechanical effects, Christopher Kane envisioned a collection of extraordinary outer space. Futuristic appeal, the collection showcased escapism through repeated spacecraft prints and metallic hues. Slim silver dresses, space age shiny suits and sparkling appliquéd flowers were the highlights of the show.

 Mulberry

A collection with an old school English country style appeal, Mulberry went back to their heritage and craft from signature chequered jackets and tailored suits. This collection featured an aesthetic of making something traditional feel new. Featuring pops of oversized silhouettes and traditional prints, the collection was enhanced by modern accessories and earthy tones.

Roland Mouret

Roland Mouret celebrated the brand’s 20th birthday in London by presenting a collection showcasing drape, shape and class with a personal appeal to women and their craving for consistency. Appealing to the freedom of speech, the collection presented soft cut draping, wrapped silhouettes and a subtle fluidity. Pops of turquoise and purple were added to showcase the designers favourite colours.

Duro Olowu

A collection dominated by vivid print and bold colour, Duro Olowu stepped into the season in a playful appeal with elegant and original designs. Showcasing striking geometric shapes, the designer collaborated various colours together to crate a signature look. Featuring unique silhouettes enhanced by, what seems simple pattern, the collection turned to be exceptionally elegant and sophisticated with that extra touch of boldness for a daring finish.

Chalayan

Luxurious simplicity with an artful cut, Chalayan presented a collection of masculine feel with a feminine draping and delicate appeal. Modern and wearable, the collection featured pops of surprises that enhanced this collection with something truly special. Careful decorations added dimension to the garments whilst toned down hues presented a simplicity every woman needs to indulge into this season.
