The Event Report: Best Dressed at the BAFTA Awards

The BAFTA TV Awards 2017 were held on Sunday 14 May in the Royal Festival Hall of London. With a host of TV personalities and celebrities present, the prestigious awards showcased an array of glamorous stars dressed in their best attire on the red carpet. Many stars from the British TV alongside some further afar came together to celebrate the past twelve months of the industry. With a host of glistening gowns presented by the ladies and even more glam and charm from the gentlemen, this year’s BAFTA Awards are full of showstopping ensembles we cannot stop talking about.

Holly Willoughby

Holly Willoughby wore a simple, yet truly flattering mint-coloured gown by Roland Mouret. Sparking her elegant ensemble up with glistening jewellery by William & Son, Holly without a doubt stole the show on the red carpet.

Benedict Cumberbatch

The Sherlock star, Benedict Cumberbatch, looked exceptionally handsome on the red carpet. Wearing a super-sharp tuxedo by Labassa Woolfe, Benedict showcased a truly charming appearance in his classic black tie attire.

Zawe Ashton

Matching the red carpet, the Fresh Meat star Zawe Ashton opted for a red gown by Stella McCartney and completed it with some jazzy purple suede pointed shoes by Loboutin. Whilst blending with the carpet, Zawe still looked fabulous at the event.

Ed Westwick

Ed Westwick looked smouldering in his deep navy suit by Emperio Armani. Completing the super-charming attire with a matching tie and suede shoes, Ed did not fail to look breathtaking on the carpet.

Eleanor Tomlinson

Eleanor Tomlinson looked sensational in her embellished floral gown by Naeem Khan which she sparked up with jewellery by Amrapali. With a very-daring, yet flattering deep V-neckline, her glamorous number looked show-stopping on the carpet.

Cuba Gooding Jr

Looking handsome and smart, Cuba Gooding Jr wore a double breasted, deep blue suit by Dunhill. Completed by an elegant bow tie, white pocket square and some sleek leather shoes, Cuba was one of the best dressed men at the BAFTA Awards.

Ella Eyre

Taking a playful approach on the red carpet, Ella Eyre looked delightful in her pink frill tulle number by Molly Goddard. With Sophia Webster shoes and CARAT London jewellery, she surely did not fail to lighten-up the mood.
