After an incredible year of British greatness, with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics, last week it was time to celebrate British fashion. Annually held in The Savoy Hotel, all the hottest names in fashion gathered under one roof to celebrate the success and creativity of leading British designers, creatives and models.
And the winners were…
This year Alexa Chung took home the coveted British Style Award, for the third year running, while Model of the Year went to the Burberry clad Cara Delevigne. Stella McCartney saw double, picking up not one but two awards: Designer of the Year and Designer Brand, while Menswear Designer Award went to Kim Jones for Louis Vuitton. Other designer’s such as J.W.Anderson, Manolo Blahnik CBE, and Sophie Hulme also won awards for their outstanding contribution to British fashion.
