Sundance Film Festival

This January sees the annual return of the Sundance Film Festival running from 22nd January to the 1st February in Park City, Utah. Founded by Robert Redford in 1981, the festival has done an exceptional job of sticking to its mission statement; ‘Dedicated to the discovery and development of independent artists and audiences’ and this year will be no exception.

The festival champions independent stories for stage and screen, internationally renowned for innovation in independent film-making. Sundance has allowed hundreds of films to gain critical recognition, reaching worldwide audiences.

Storytellers broaden our minds: engage, provoke, inspire, and ultimately, connect us.” — Robert Redford, (President and Founder of Sundance Film Festival)

This year’s festival will be presenting the world premieres of 18 narrative feature films, representing 29 countries and 45 first time filmmakers.
