On the runway French fashion houses Chanel, Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton wowed us once again with their incredibly elegant and unforgettable collections – all set to trigger new ideas and inspirations. However a real trend buzz has sprung straight from the sleek show goers on the Parisian streets, catching the attention of many fashion bloggers and photographers, and of course everyone here Jules B! So here’s a breakdown of some of the contemporary street style trends we noticed at this season’s Paris fashion week

Bold Hues

There has been a flourish of bold hues showcased in the form of vibrant eye catching accessories and layers which has colourfully lit up the streets of Paris.

Futuristic Footwear

Experimental shoes and block heels have taken centre stage and are the main focus of most ensembles throughout the week. Taking inspiration from the 60s, these fabulous shoes are a fusion of retro designs with futuristic colours and shapes .

Clashing Prints

An explosion of block clashing prints, colours and textures has been under spotlight throughout the week and we absolutely love the garish and quirky pieces which have been so wonderfully worn together.

In true classic Parisian styleMonochrome has made a grand appearance once again. In the form of sharp geometric prints, tailored trousers and minimalistic pieces, this trend is one of our favourites!

Gold Accessories

It wouldn’t be Paris Fashion Week if there wasn’t a presence of glamour and luxury on the streets and of course there has been plenty. Elegant flashes of gold accessories has been a favourite this week in Paris,  from chunky waist clinching belts to gold chain bags and statement jewellery.
