New York Fashion Week

It’s that wonderful time of year again where the much awaited Mercedes-Benz fashion weeks are approaching from New York, London, Paris & Milan and we can’t wait! With New York Fashion week well under way, it sure has been an amazing week to watch so far with all the outstanding designs that have come to life. In the midst of this fashion week there were (obviously) many incredibly talented and fashion-famed designers from all around the world showcasing their new lines, and that excitingly includes some of the acclaimed names here at Jules B such as Rag & Bone, Alice + Olivia and T by Alexander Wang. Here are some of the up-and-coming next season looks from our design favourites to look forward to:

With a host of different autumn/winter ’15 style ideas on offer packed within the busy schedule of the week,  some of the most talked about looks are from The Row, Zac Posen, Thakoon, Alexander Wang & Victoria Beckham amongst many more. To keep your minds always one step ahead, here are some stand out trends within our fashion favourites to offer a taste of whats to come style wise in the second half of the year….

There were many highlights from New York Fashion Week, one most importantly being Carrie Hammer’s show which made history by featuring role models instead of runway models.  Including CEO’s, actresses, writers and entrepreneurs, this line-up also showed the amazingly talented actress Jamie Brewer strutting her stuff down the runway with absolute delight, adored by the the crowd of people watching. It’s thought that Carrie Hammer wants to redefine the type of model that’s used on the runway and who people look up to.

Additionally, in keeping with the theme of the week – Valentines Day, the Moncler ‘All you need is love’ set was unbelievable to view  with their use of hearts and hydraulics which made it the perfect scene of decadence and happiness to showcase their striking collection.
