As always, our eyes were looking for some great new creations from brands we already stock here at Jules B. Versus, the House of Versace’s sister brand, produced some amazing new looks. Versus displayed a mix of asymmetric shapes, powerful tailoring, short hemlines and heavy-duty buttons details. Versus still adopts the ultra-glamorous tone that Versace is famous for, but with a subtle and minimalistic aesthtic.
A British brand we all know and love is Vivienne Westwood. This breathtaking label always surprises, pleases and shocks it’s audience- and this year was no different. The delicate draping synonymous with was present in pastel shades, as were undone hemlines, and lace detailing. As always showcasing some more tailored silhouettes, equally as breathtaking as the more loose, eccentric designs, with cut out details and oversize trousers paired with multi-tonal accessories.
Classic, sophisticated and elegant, Burberry introduced lace paneling, multi-layered sleeves and a contemporary take on mesh. Adding elegant twists to their iconic trench coat and lightweight jackets we are bound to need throughout the British summer, Burberry’s S/S ’16 looks combine elegance and easy to style separates, timeless investments for summers to come.
