French electronic duo Daft Punk ‘Get Lucky’ on the cover of November’s Wall Street Journal. Photographed by Terry Richardson the duo pose with Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen, keeping their identities hidden under their signature helmets for the magazine. Styled by George Cortina the photographs see Gisele Bundchen rock the duo’s trademark helmet and pose with the stars children playfully mimicking their fathers iconic style. Daft Punk are dressed in Saint Laurent Stage Wear by Hedi Slimane throughout whilst the super model wears luxury metallic designs from the likes of Giorgio Armani Prive, Valentino Haute Couture and Chanel Haute Couture.
Daft Punk were recently presented the Entertainment Innovators Award for the success of their fourth studio album, Random Access Memories, at the annual Wall Street Journal Innovators Awards by ‘Get Lucky’ collaborator Pharell Williams. The song is one of the biggest hit records of the year and the robotic duo stated the success and inspiration behind the album ‘Let’s make a record like it’s the 70’s…create something that could have a certain kind of timelessness.’ Check out the photoshoot below.
