Try this elegantly flavoured elderflower posicle recipe from Chewtown delicately decorated with edible flowers to celebrate national flower week and keep you cool on warmer days. They are so simple to make and as you can keep them in the freezer they are great for parties an gatherings throughout the summer. Delicate elderflower flavours are offset by the bold flower petals which can be chosen to complement any occasion!
4 cups water
Various edible flowers (petals retained)
1 tablespoon elderflower cordial
Layer the petals on top of each other inside the popsicle moulds, making sure that you don’t compact them.
Stir water and elderflower cordial together to combine.
Carefully pour in the cordial mixture making sure you don’t disturb the petals, insert popsicle sticks and place in the freezer until frozen solid.
To remove from the moulds gently place bottom of moulds in warm water until the popsicles pull free.
