Once again, Royal Baby Fever has swept the nation as the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their second child broke earlier this week. A statement from Clarence House read that the Royal Family are “delighted with the news”. However Kate is once again suffering from acute morning sickness as she did during her pregnancy with Prince George, who turned 1 in July, so she is currently being treated inside Kensington Palace. The Duchess has had to withdraw from a few public engagements due to Hyperemesis Gravidarum, hence the early announcement of pregnancy. Kate has not yet passed her 12-week mark and we wish her a speedy recovery so she can continue with her engagements without worry.
The world will once again wait in anticipation to see if the next Royal Baby will be a boy or a girl, and if the excitement which surrounded the birth of Prince George is anything to go by then we can expect an exciting nine months in the run up to Kate’s due date.
We all wish Kate and Wills the very best of luck during the pregnancy, and can’t wait to follow Kate’s inimitable pregnancy style once again!
