As the Cannes Film Festival 2014 draws to a close, we glance back at some of our favourite style moments. The festival in the French Riviera has always been internationally renowned for being the most spectacular event when it comes to fashion. Lavish ballgowns, sparkling diamonds and jewels, heels sky high and pristine hair and make-up have always been the basics at Cannes. The festival opened with the premiere of Grace of Monaco in which Nicole Kidman plays the title role. Kidman wore a stunning white Altuzarra dress as she graced the red carpet. Stars such as Blake Lively, Julianne Moore, Marion Cotillard and Ryan Gosling followed her lead in one beautiful creation after the other. Once again this year Cannes played host to some of the biggest names in the film industry, from actresses to directors and not forgetting a handful of models, and the glamourous, elegant festival aesthetic was upheld by all attendees. Designers have always flocked to dress all who walk the red carpet and this year was no exception, Chanel and Versace were favourites amongst an array of international designers.
