Perhaps one of the most highly-anticipated events of the fashion world’s calendar, the British Fashion Awards came to London last night. Ablaze with models, designers and miscellaneous celebrities, the red carpet saw some seriously chic ensembles. From high-fashion brands such as Burberry to premium high street numbers, the ceremony was overcome with fashions most sought-after labels. Here are some of our favourite looks from the night.
This season is all about embellishment and there was lot of it to be had! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Greek goddess gown stood out from the crowd with its shimmering finish. Additionally, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s Topshop number was reminiscent of a Valentino design with its glitzy flower adornment. The X-Factor judge mixed high street with high-fashion by pairing her stunning gown with some over-knee bots by Sergio Rossi.
However, the main feature of the event was obviously the prestigious awards. We were delighted to see that the results were a real mixture of big brand names as well as lesser-known, emerging designers. Here are but a few of the celebrated winners…
A true fashion power-house, Tom Ford won the Red Carpet award for creating global awareness of his brand in the media.
