Brand Focus | Pellevävare

Pellevävare have built their reputation on a long tradition of textile expertise and craftsmanship, producing high quality made textiles with inspiration from what lies in the future. From luxurious bathrobes and towels to decadent throws, cushions and bedding, each product is created with heritage and traditional craftsmanship in mind.

Pellevävare began its story back in 1893 when the entrepreneur Alfred Johansson began designing and making hand-crafted scarves in a small weaving mill in the Swedish province Västergötland. His small textile company was the making of a modern classic and as the years went on it gradually built its reputation to what it is today. From the end of the war until the mid 1960’s the company had grown significantly and shown great profitability which interested investors. During the late 1960’s the company merged together with Marks Jaquardväveri and became known as Pellevävare AB.

Pellevävare’s name originates from textile entrepreneur and legend CEO Per Almquist. His nickname was Pelle. The word “vävare” means weaver, ie. “Pelle the Weaver”.

Here at Jules B we have the new Pellevävare spring/summer ’13 collection which showcases a decadent blend of unisex bathrobes that have been crafted from the highest quality materials and feature the most up to date designs.
