Sara Blakely launched Spanx in 2000. Her innovative vision for discreet, shaping undergarments spanked her in 1998 as she was getting ready for a party and struggled to find undergarments to wear beneath white trousers. Geniously, Sara put a twist on her knickers, cutting the legs off her pull-in pantyhose and the rest is hoisery history. Over a decade later, Spanx offers women and men an array from staple bodyshapers, tights, swimwear and sportswear as well as a fashion driven line, Haute Contour by Spanx, making practical shapewear sexy with lace, satin and sheer fabrics. Trusted by women all over the world, including Gwenyth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey, Spanx have truly become a phenomenon.

This season Spanx are continuing their timeless black, white and nude pieces as seen at Jules B, but also introducing some new fall colours for hoisery coinciding with colour palettes witnessed on autumn/winter catwalks (see Jean Paul Gaultier's gold tights and Balenciaga's royal shades for legs), Spanx have introduced platinum greys, greens, blues and plum colours this season.
