Creenstone has a leading collection for Summer 2008. Every design is
solidly embedded in a foundation of creativity, functionality, quality
and originality. The latest trends are subtly incorporated into the
designs, without losing sight of the Creenstone woman’s preferences.
The fit continues to be the most important aspect of all the designs.
Shapes have been sought that are pleasant for the Creenstone woman. The
transition to wide volumes is primarily used in a localised manner. The
new silhouettes demand solid craftsmanship in the pattern design. This
season, it resulted in a deeper décolleté, new sleeve inserts and
experiments with the balloon seam.
Contrasts are very important this season and also play a role in
the details. From large pockets to pocket-free lines, from wide zippers
to very narrow closures, all the variations are explored in exciting
ways in the new collection.
In terms of materials, we see all sorts of different qualities used
in combination, including both natural fabrics and polyester and nylon.
The materials also determine the silhouettes. Thin fabrics are used for
the voluminous designs, while heavier qualities are used for slimmer
lines. All the details of the garments ensure a great balance between
price and quality.
