The Spring / Summer 2008 collection for Twenty8Twelve by s.miller, titled "Ode to Evelyn", further reflects the brands influences of the arts, literature, theatre and photography.
The worlds and influences of Zelda Fitzgerald, Vita Sackville West and Collette give overall inspiration to the collection. These 19th century literary women rejected the convention of their time and embodied the spirit of recklessness, triumph and tragedy, rebelling against the restrictive style that influenced a major overall in form and silhouette. They embraced all things modern, with a preference to more 'boyish', simplified, oversized and unstructured garments
