Born in New York City, 1979, the Hartford brand was established by a vision to recreate 1940's/50's vintage style shirts. Founder, Yves Chareton had a vision to produce the clothing that inspired him from the flea markets of Paris. The Hartford casual range was an instant success, with celebrity endorsements from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, the brand became synonymous with the use of the finest fabrics, coupled with rich colours and a definite authentic approach.
