Jules B was founded in 1985 by husband and wife team Julian and Rhona Blades and has since developed a group of seven stores in Jesmond, Kendal and Yarm.

Passionate about their business, the company’s ethos has always been to provide the best, whether it be product or service, never compromise on quality, and above all, make the task of buying beautiful clothes a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Despite the fact that you will find the collections of many of the most famous designers in the world hanging on the rails, the company takes enormous pains to buy the garments for their individual merits of style, quality and value for money; and not for the simple fact that they have a designer label stitched inside or emblazened across them. The huge advantage that Jules B enjoys about being an independent retailer is that unlike monobrand stores we can always bring you the best pieces from the best collections available.

Our buyers travel extensively throughout the fashion capitals of Europe each season searching for the key pieces to reflect the true Jules B style and image.

Jules B have also won the industries most prestigious accolade, the Emap/FHM award for ‘ UK’s Best independent retailer’, not once, not twice, but three times in 1995, 2000 and 2006.
